軍方：曼谷爆炸和泰南暴亂手法不符

泰國軍方領袖今天(18日)表示，曼谷四面佛寺發生的爆炸事件，「並不符合」泰國南部分離主義叛軍的手法。

泰國皇家陸軍(Royal Thai Army)領袖、同時也是泰國副國防部長烏東德將軍(Udomdej Sitabutr)在接受電視訪問時說，這和泰南的叛亂事件不符，而且使用的炸彈種類也不一致。

曼谷市中心齊隆區(Chidlom)的愛樂威四面佛(Erawan Shrine)附近，17日晚間6時30分左右發生爆炸。泰國警方稍早證實，爆炸造成19人死亡，另有120多人受傷。目前尚未有團體出面聲稱犯案。

據泰國警方發言人表示，研判曼谷爆炸案應與政治有關，目的是要製造混亂。

泰國最南部的3個省份，長期有穆斯林分離主義分子從事叛亂活動。自從2004年起，已有超過6,500人在當地的暴亂中喪命，其中多數是平民。
